NOTES:

These ON DUTY compliance status are crucial to being legal. For questions, comments or complaints, please call Compliance at 1-800-527-7094. Drivers are getting severe fines for non-compliance with these HOS rules, plus it will cost you and Stevens Transport CSA points and go on your permanent DAC report.

Load Tab:

You must manually enter a load tab for your empty trailer.

To do so go to your HOS, then there are tabs at the top, labeled OVERVIEW, HOS, LOAD, and REVIEW.

[1] Select the tab labeled LOAD, then select  ADD NEW LOAD.

[2] Put today's date as the START and the day you will be at the next shipper for END.

[3] Click the EMPTY box under Load ID.

[4] Under Bill of Lading field, manually type in NO LOAD (lowercase is fine), then enter the trailer number under TRAILER.

[5] To finish, press the blue CREATE button.

This is crucial to be complaint with DOT and is easy to forget, but it should always be done when you are attached to a empty trailer. Be sure to check your LOAD TAB every start of shift.
